About The Position

LabCorp is seeking a Specimen Processor to join their team in Wichita, KS. This role is a vital component of clinical lab science, working in a high-volume, production-based environment. The Specimen Processor will prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, unpack and route specimens, accurately identify and label them, and pack and ship them to proper testing facilities. The role also involves data entry of patient information, resolving and documenting problem specimens, and preparing and storing excess specimen samples. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Experience working in a team environment
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Nice To Haves

• 3 months or more of experience in a medical or production environment

Responsibilities
