This role supports standard costing processes and upholds pricing integrity by partnering cross-functionally with internal teams. The Specifications Analyst will process manufacturing facility requests to create new supply and inventory items, and maintain/update existing item attributes within master data systems to ensure data integrity. Regular audits of item master data will be conducted to identify and correct discrepancies. The position also involves collaborating with management on process improvements, supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager with special projects, overseeing updates to the Commercial Specifications Plan, and providing analytical support for profitable decision-making. This includes gathering and interpreting data related to customer specifications patterns, product rationalization opportunities, and pricing optimization strategies. The role also validates revenue and standard costs for monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and financial reporting.
