About The Position

The Specialty Surgical Technician functions as an integral member of the surgical team across all phases of a surgical procedure. The role supports seamless transitions and comprehensive patient care by preparing the operating room, assisting the surgeon, and managing instruments and supplies. The technician maintains a sterile field and anticipates the needs of the surgical team to promote efficiency and patient safety. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing with attendance in the core curriculum for perioperative nursing, or equivalent training, upon hire; alternatively, graduate of an approved one- or two-year surgical technology program, upon hire.
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 30 days.
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective performance under pressure.
Commitment to teamwork and sterile technique.
