About The Position
As a Staff Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll contribute to a community’s well-being, act as a trusted advisor to patients, and ensure pharmacy operations are efficient, effective, and continually improving while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management. This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are located at 100 E. Carroll Street Salisbury, MD 21801.
Requirements
- Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Successful completion of Maryland state pharmacy board examination
- Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Maryland
- Up to date on any continuing education requirements
Nice To Haves
- Three (3) years of experience in the practice of pharmacy
- Specialty pharmacy experience
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence
- Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients
- Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development
- Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more
