Under the direction of the Sports Director(s), the Sports Specialty Instructor is responsible for implementing sport-specific training and skill development. This role involves demonstrating and explaining sports skills and rules to individuals or groups, helping beginners learn basic techniques, and assisting experienced athletes in sharpening their skills. The instructor must perform duties in accordance with the policies, goals, mission, values, and objectives established by the Metropolitan Atlanta YMCA, emphasizing member service, program knowledge, member/staff safety, and communication.
