The Specialty Sales Team Leader role is part of a team of specialized consultants who focus on meeting guest needs through strong operations, exceptional guest experience, and compelling visual merchandising. This role involves prioritizing guest experience while completing tasks to ensure product availability and ease of shopping, including pulling, filling, pricing, setting, staging, and maintaining the sales floor and backroom. Target believes in providing leaders with meaningful experiences to build and develop career skills. This role offers opportunities to gain experience in guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (including sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, and promotions), and planning daily/weekly workloads to meet business priorities and sales goals. It also involves leading multiple businesses, balancing team member expertise, and effectively leading teams in each department, as well as developing, coaching, interviewing, evaluating, and retaining talent.
