This role involves managing daily operations within specific departments such as Apparel and Accessories, Home, Baby, Core Beauty, and Electronics. The position aims to develop leaders by providing meaningful experiences and building skills in guest service, retail business fundamentals, inventory management, sales trends, and team leadership. A typical day involves ensuring team members deliver on guest experience commitments, providing feedback and coaching, analyzing performance metrics, and planning daily/weekly workloads to meet sales goals. The role also includes leading and developing a team of hourly consultants, assigning tasks, encouraging the use of in-store tools, partnering with vendors, creating inspiring visual displays, and supporting backroom operations and replenishment. Additionally, the role involves participating in hiring and onboarding, ensuring fitting rooms are maintained, establishing clear goals, and upholding a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. The Team Leader may also assume Store Leader on Duty responsibilities, support guest services like cashiering and order pickup, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and policies.
