Requirements

Previous industrial pipefitting experience.
Hands-on experience with steam tracing and/or small-bore tubing installation in an industrial or refinery environment.
Experience measuring, cutting, bending, routing, and installing tubing and associated fittings.
Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, piping layouts, and project specifications.
Knowledge of pipefitting tools, tubing tools, materials, fittings, valves, and proper installation practices.
Ability to accurately measure, calculate offsets, and perform field fit-up.
Strong understanding of industrial construction safety practices.
Ability to work effectively as part of a field construction team.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience performing steam tracing in a refinery, chemical plant, or other process-industry environment.
Experience installing steam supply, condensate return, and heat-tracing tubing systems.
Experience with small-bore stainless steel or carbon steel tubing, tube bending, compression fittings, and tubing support systems.
Previous experience working in an operating facility or turnaround environment.
Familiarity with project-specific quality requirements related to tubing and steam tracing installations.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, piping layouts, blueprints, and specifications.
Install, assemble, maintain, and repair piping systems in an industrial facility.
Perform steam tracing and small-bore tubing installation, including measuring, cutting, bending, routing, supporting, and securing tubing in accordance with project specifications.
Install and maintain steam supply and condensate return tracing systems used to provide freeze protection and maintain process temperatures.
Work with tubing, fittings, valves, supports, and related components associated with steam tracing systems.
Identify proper routing and installation methods to avoid interference with existing piping, equipment, insulation, and other trades.
Perform field measurements and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit-up and installation.
Inspect completed work for proper alignment, supports, connections, and overall quality.
Follow all site safety procedures and project-specific requirements while working around operating equipment and piping systems.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and work scheduled overtime as project needs require.
