About The Position

Shields Health Solutions is transforming the specialty pharmacy experience to ensure patients stay on track with life-saving medications. They are looking for compassionate, driven professionals to join their collaborative team in Worcester, MA. As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician, you’ll work in a hospital-based pharmacy setting, blending the pace of retail with the purpose of specialty care. Your day-to-day will include preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, providing exceptional service at the pick-up counter, answering patient calls and assisting with medication-related questions, supporting pharmacy operations using systems like Epic and Willow Ambulatory, and collaborating with a team that values empathy, communication, and excellence.

Requirements

• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• National Certification (PTCB or NHA) – contingency start may be considered for the right candidate
• 1+ years of pharmacy technician experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Solid computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for communication, documentation, and data management, as well as, navigating the internet and web-based platforms.

• 5+ years preferred experience
