Requirements

  • Active Pharmacy Technician registration in the state of employment
  • 2–5 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
  • Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to extract key information efficiently
  • Solid computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for communication, documentation, and data management, as well as, navigating the internet and web-based platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • CPhT Certification (highly valued)
  • 5–8 years of Pharmacy Technician experience

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-touch patient support, managing each patient's journey from onboarding through refills
  • Coordinate timely medication deliveries and manage refill schedules
  • Proactively address insurance, prior authorization, financial assistance, and copay challenges
  • Monitor and promote medication adherence to support positive patient outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with clinical pharmacists, providers, and clinic staff to quickly resolve issues
  • Serve as a trusted patient advocate and resource for individuals navigating complex specialty therapies
