About The Position

YMCA at North Rutherford is Now Hiring for Specialty Maintenance Tech. Position Type: Part-time. Pay Range starts at $15 per hour (or more depending on experience). Are you a skilled maintenance professional with a passion for keeping facilities running smoothly? The YMCA of Middle TN is seeking a Specialty Maintenance Tech to help ensure our buildings, vehicles, pools, and grounds are safe, clean, and functional.

Requirements

• Minimum Age: 18
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance, cleaning, and equipment repair
• A positive, solution-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills
• New Hire Orientation before your first shift
• CPR Pro, First Aid, and AED (within 30 days)
• Certified Pool Operator’s Certification (within six months)
• Adult Mental Health First Aid USA (within six months)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with power tools and heavy machinery
• Familiarity with pool mechanics and chemicals

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on facilities, equipment, and pools.
• Utilize power tools and heavy machinery to tackle a variety of tasks.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness across all areas, including grounds and parking lots.
• Assist with event setups, room changes, and vendor communications.
