Requirements

  • Experience in a veterinary setting, whether general practice, specialty, or emergency
  • Versatile clinical skills, including restraint, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and familiarity with anesthesia and patient monitoring
  • Adaptability, capable of quickly adjusting to the protocols and procedures of different departments
  • Collaborative mindset, working effectively alongside various specialists and team members
  • A commitment to continuous learning, welcoming every shift as an opportunity to broaden your horizons and enhance your skill set
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities, ensuring seamless transitions and support for each department

Responsibilities

  • Rotate among different specialties, including surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, emergency, and more, quickly adapting to each department�s protocols.
  • Provide hands-on assistance during procedures�from general patient care and diagnostic workups to advanced interventions�under the guidance of senior technicians and specialists.
  • Manage a range of technical tasks, such as venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, medication administration, and patient record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, learning from specialists and fellow technicians to expand your expertise across multiple areas of veterinary medicine.
  • Maintain a high level of organization, ensuring each department is stocked with necessary supplies and that equipment is ready for immediate use.
