About The Position
Floyd Valley Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Clinic Nursing Department in the Specialty Clinic. This position involves working 32-37.5 hours per week and supporting specialty providers with general clinic nurse functions. The role requires assisting in patient care under physician supervision, obtaining vital signs, blood pressures, height, and weights, and recording this information. Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
- BLS certification is required as an employee.
- Mandatory Reporter training certification is required as an employee.
- Pre-employment drug screen, background check, and employee health review including required immunizations are required.
Responsibilities
- Work on referrals, messages, and follow-up for multiple specialists.
- Assist in patient care when working under direct supervision of the physician.
- Obtain vital signs, blood pressures, height and weights and record information.
- Support specialty providers in the clinic setting with general clinic nurse functions.
