Specialty Care RN - Dialysis
About The Position
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Specialty Care Registered Nurses who perform a full range of professional nursing duties in the Dialysis Unit. Duties include assessing, planning, evaluating and implementing patient care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and organizational policy, administering medications and treatments, performing documentation and providing education to patients and families. Official County Title: Specialty Care Registered Nurse. ARMC is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties, a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.
Requirements
- Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
- One (1) year of full-time experience as a licensed registered nurse.
- Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Vascular or Hemodialysis/peritoneal dialysis course OR Certified Nephrology Nurse OR Certified Dialysis Nurse Certification
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Two (2) years of experience in a Dialysis Unit
