Specialty Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Urology
About The Position
The Specialty Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to provide clinical care and support department partnerships to achieve positive patient outcomes. The Specialty Nurse demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life-span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, and interpret the appropriate information required to identify needs of the patient relative to his/her age and condition. The Specialty Nurse possesses specialized knowledge, skills and training to provide care to patients with complex pathology and operates at a higher level with larger amounts of autonomy than a Staff Nurse in ECU Health's Specialty Clinics.
Requirements
- American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Current license as a RN in the state of North Carolina.
- Demonstrates competencies in nursing practice.
- Basic computer skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 3+ years directly related specialty experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- American Heart Association ACLS may be required based on clinic.
Responsibilities
