About The Position

This position is in Cargill's Food Enterprise, which serves food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. The portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa, and chocolate. This role involves working in a production facility, manufacturing kitchen products such as molding, dipping, confectionery center creation, fudge, and packing finished product. Requirements

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
  • Minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 55lbs, kneeling and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work with changing priorities and in a diverse and fast paced environment
  • Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends rotation, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous food production experience
  • Previous candy making experience or baking experience
  • Degree or certificate in pastry arts
  • High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
  • Passion for creating consumer goods

Responsibilities

  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Ability to work independently in the manufacturing of kitchen products (molding, dipping, confectionery center creation, fudge, packing finished product) by following production plans and the work order process
  • Process customer special order requests as needed
  • Prepare production equipment and maintain a clean production environment daily – accurately complete FSQR documentation for cleaning schedules and work orders
  • Ability to read and understand a weight scale
  • Other duties as assigned
