About The Position

This role will initially be non-exempt during the training period, making you eligible for overtime. After successful completion of the training program and meet specific criteria, the position will transition to exempt status of a base salary plus sales incentive bonus. The Specialty Sales, Principal Analyst is responsible for driving sales activities directly to customers, including face-to-face and remote interactions. This role aims to assess customer needs, suggest appropriate products, and develop sales strategies to grow and diversify customer relationships. By contributing to Takeda's sales goals, this role supports the company's mission of delivering better health of people worldwide.

  • As a senior professional, you're adept at solving a range of moderate scope and complexity problems, occasionally referring to policies and practices for guidance.
  • Your work involves analyzing situations and data, exercising judgment within established procedures, and fostering productive relationships internally and externally.
  • You possess solid knowledge of industry practices and contribute to departmental projects and goals, often engaging in frequent internal and external interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face and remote sales to new and existing customers
  • Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions
  • Develop and deliver sales bids, proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations
  • Create medium to long-term sales plans and strategies to protect, grow, and diversify customer relationships
  • Manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision
  • Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals
  • Occasionally lead small project teams and provide informal guidance to junior staff
