Plan and lead activities and lessons appropriate for K-6th grade students which may include Art, Music, STEM, Performing Arts, Physical Education or Family & Consumer Science. Help maintain a positive, orderly environment; address student behavior as needed and involve support staff when appropriate. Be a living example of kindness and respect; your character sets the tone for the whole program day. Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times. Share student wins, needs, and progress with program leadership. Work alongside teachers and staff to support student well-being. Ensure that classrooms are kept orderly and clean on a daily basis. Maintain accurate attendance and performance records. Lead or assist in emergency evacuations or shelter-in-place procedures during drills or live emergencies. Participate in team meetings, professional development workshops, and conferences. Provide driving for student transportation (ages 25 and over) or serve as a bus attendant (ages under 25). Participate in Summer Programming. Other duties as assigned by the TLA Program Manager. All applicants will be required to complete a Level-2 background check.
