About The Position

This position is for a Specialized Programs Teacher Assistant for the Autism-Primary program, serving grades K-2. The role involves working 6 hours per day for 9 months out of the year. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a current CPR/AED certificate. Specific documents are required at the time of application, including transcripts, CPR/AED certificate, and evidence of training and experience. Out-of-district applicants must provide a detailed employment history for the past three years.

Requirements

High school graduation or other equivalent (General Educational Development [GED], foreign equivalency, etc.).
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator (CPR/AED) certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other similar organization. Certification must be maintained for the duration of the assignment. Certification training must be in-person and include a hands-on component. Online courses will not be accepted.
High school transcript or other equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
Current CPR/AED certificate as indicated above. A copy of the front and back of the CPR/AED certificate must be uploaded into the application.
Specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications.
