About The Position
Under the direct supervision of a certificated teacher, the Specialized Programs Teacher Assistant assists in the instruction and supervision of students in a specialized program. This role supports the teacher in creating a positive and effective learning environment, managing classroom activities, and providing individualized assistance to students with diverse needs. The assistant helps implement lesson plans, monitors student progress, and ensures the safety and well-being of all students.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of the three (3) year work history in the "Experience and Credentials" section of the application, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work.
- Must attach required documents at the time of application.
