Title I - Specialized Programs Teacher Assistant III - Paradise ES
About The Position
This position is for a Specialized Programs Teacher Assistant III at Paradise ES. The role is for 9 months and requires 7 hours per day. Applicants must complete a three (3) year work history in the “Experience and Credentials” section of their application, including periods of unemployment, schooling and volunteer work. To be considered, applicants must have a high school graduation or equivalent, a minimum of 48 college credit hours or a passing score on the ETS para-pro assessment, experience working with children, and a current CPR/AED certificate from an approved organization (in-person training with hands-on component required).
Requirements
- High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical, or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Minimum of 48 credit hours from an accredited college or university or a passing score on the Educational Testing Service (ETS) para-pro assessment.
- Experience working with children.
- Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or a similar organization. Certification must be maintained for duration of assignment. Certification training must be in-person and include a hands-on component. Online courses will not be accepted. A copy of the front and back of the CPR/AED certificate must be uploaded into the application.
