About The Position

This is a Right-to-Return-only position for a Title I Specialized Programs Teacher Assistant III in the Specialized Learning Disabled program. The assignment is 9 months, at 7 hours per day. Applicants seeking to exercise their right to return must submit the request form before the advertisement closes on October 29, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. A separate form is required for each position. Human Resources will review requests after the advertisement closes and send notifications. Required application documents must be attached. Out-of-district applicants must disclose their three most recent years of work experience, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work, in the application’s “Experience and Credentials” section.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent, such as a GED or foreign equivalency.
At least 48 credits from an accredited college or university, or a passing score on the ParaPro/Parapathways Testing.
Experience working with children.
Applicant/employee must provide their own transportation.
Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or a similar organization; certification must be maintained for the duration of the assignment. Training must be in person and include a hands-on component; online courses are not accepted.

Submit a high school transcript or equivalent; applicable college transcript(s) or proof of a passing ParaPro/Parapathways score; a current CPR/AED certificate; and documented evidence of training and experience supporting qualifications.
