This role involves applying extensive knowledge of technical and operational functions related to application submission and onboarding for various insurance products (ESINS, BOLI/COLI, UL, and Term Conversion cases) to solve complex problems. The consultant will identify alternatives, contribute to policy and process enhancements, and proactively address gaps in the service experience. They will act as a subject matter expert in designing and implementing new processes and systems to improve client and field experiences while driving operational efficiencies. The role also includes educating, coaching, and mentoring staff, developing and delivering training, and updating servicing processes in accordance with contract provisions, state statutes, regulations, and HIPAA requirements. A key aspect is delivering a personalized and exceptional experience for clients, handling complex inquiries, transactions, and escalations, and collaborating across departments. The consultant will serve as a trusted partner to Financial Representatives, build professional client relationships, and exercise independent judgment in resolving complex issues. They will be the primary resource for challenging service situations, lead complex remediation efforts, and act as an advocate for clients by coordinating support across multiple products and services. Additionally, the role involves serving as a subject matter expert on cross-functional systems projects, adapting leadership and coaching approaches, preparing responses to complaints, assisting with interviewing and hiring, and performing quantitative and qualitative analysis of business data. The consultant will also conduct audit and suitability reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
