About The Position

Mt. Mansfield Union High School is seeking a skilled individual to work as a Specialized Assistant: Campus & Student Support. This position will provide for a safe school environment, through establishing positive relationships with students and being a presence on our campus. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody to work with students and staff in many different settings.

Requirements

Establish strong working relationships with students and staff.
Monitor the campus by foot.
Promote student responsibility for behavior and attitude by serving as a role model.
Intervene in situations likely to result in disruption to education.
Ensure a smooth traffic flow of students through the hallways, assisting students with on time arrival to class and to assigned locations.
Assist with supervision in the breakfast and lunch periods, morning arrival and afternoon dismissal of students.
Work with building administration to monitor dynamic situations.
Protect confidentiality of information.
