About The Position

Develops analytical tools, insights, and planning processes that give leaders a clear view of current workforce capabilities and future skill requirements. By grounding guidance in data, labor market intelligence, and industry trends, the role enables proactive workforce planning, informed decision making, and long-term strategic readiness aligned with LUMA’s commitment to innovation and a skills focused talent strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
• 5 years' experience with functional role responsibilities, and working with data collection, analysis and interpretation.
• 1–3 years of experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, labor market research, economic analysis or organizational development.
• Experience working with documents, policies, SOP creation and implementation.
• Experience leading or collaborating with small projects.
• Experience as matter-expert and asset resource to provide support to internal/external clients.
• Associate’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 3 years of experience performing a previous positions as Specialist role.
• High School or equivalent (GED) when accompanied by a minimum of 10 years of experience performing similar functions described and at least 5 years of experience performing a previous Specialist role.
• Analytical & Data Interpretation: Applies strong analytical capabilities to create dashboards, reports, and insights that support informed decision‑making across the organization.
• Strategic Communication: Interprets technical and workforce‑related insights into clear, actionable recommendations that help leaders balance operational needs with long‑term strategy.
• Workforce Planning & Evaluation: Monitors workforce strategy execution by assessing progress, identifying risks, and recommending adjustments to maintain alignment with organizational goals.
• Consultative Leadership: Advises leaders on emerging skills and capability needs to strengthen safe, reliable, customer‑focused operations within a modernized grid environment.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Bilingual Communication: Coordinates effectively with Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Compensation, and HR Business Partners while communicating fluently in Spanish and English to support stakeholder alignment and integration of workforce strategy across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise in creating dashboards, reports, and workforce insights to support informed leader decision‑making across operations, engineering, grid modernization, customer experience, and corporate functions.
• Interprets technical insights into clear, practical recommendations that help leaders balance day‑to‑day operational needs with long‑term strategic goals.
• Monitors workforce strategy execution by tracking progress, identifying risks, and recommending adjustments to ensure alignment with LUMA’s transformation goals.
• Advises leaders to enhance understanding and adoption of the future skills required to deliver safe, reliable, customer‑focused operations within a modernized grid environment.
• Coordinates with Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Compensation, and HR Business Partners to embed workforce strategy insights into hiring plans, skill‑development programs, and organizational design decisions.
• Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
• Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.
• Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.
