This position is assigned to the LA City Community Investment Department (CID) Program Year 2026–2027 contract and includes a contract-specific hourly rate of $31.25 per hour for Specialists performing work under this program. This rate is tied to the funding and requirements of the contract and is anticipated to remain in effect through June 30, 2027. Employment and compensation under this assignment are contingent upon continued contract funding and operational need and may be modified or discontinued earlier if the contract is reduced, terminated, or otherwise ceases prior to the anticipated end date. Upon completion or termination of the contract assignment, Ambassadors will revert to their pre-program base rate of pay, plus any approved merit increases earned during the contract period in accordance with Goodwill Southern California compensation policies and practices. Empower a diverse caseload of program participants by delivering comprehensive support and career guidance services, encompassing initial enrollment and needs assessment, intensive case management, work experience facilitation, dynamic workshop delivery, and sustained job placement and retention support; develop individualized employment plans informed by job market data and expertise, guiding participants in targeted training and upskilling initiatives; and ensure exceptional service quality through meticulous documentation, robust employer and community partnerships, and proactive participation in continuous quality improvement, all while upholding rigorous program, company, and grant compliance standards.
