About The Position

The Specialist - Waste Water is responsible for monitoring and maintaining wastewater treatment system operations to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards. The role includes monitoring system operations, inspecting equipment, collecting and recording samples, adjusting wastewater tank pH, coordinating with the lab, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining operational records.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret PLC screens, charts, and gauges.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Experience in wastewater treatment or a related field is preferred.
Forklift operation certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor wastewater treatment system operations.
Read PLC screens, charts, and gauges and note operational problems.
Inspect pumps, ventilators, and air supplies.
Gather samples at appropriate sampling points according to proper procedures and record information.
Pump in raw materials to adjust the pH of wastewater tanks.
Collaborate with the lab on disposals and adjustments.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks.
Clean and monitor the operation of automatic samplers.
Maintain logs, records, and reports related to the work.
Pump in dye or oil wash out as needed.
