About The Position

This role involves working in a team-oriented environment to pick, prepare, and palletize finished goods for shipment, with overtime as needed to meet daily/weekly shipping goals. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and pallet jacks, performing daily equipment inspections, and charging vehicles. The position requires using a handheld RF scanner for various warehouse tasks such as picking, replenishing, and putting away items, ensuring precise data entry and inventory accuracy. Adherence to company procedures, safety guidelines, and good manufacturing practices is essential. The role also includes general housekeeping duties and participation in team initiatives like Safety, 5S, and Lean.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current forklift certification required.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift 80 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Stand-up forklift preferred.
  • Motorized (electric) pallet jack certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
  • Minimum +1 years warehousing experience.
  • Oracle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, prepare, and palletize finished goods for shipment.
  • Operate forklift or other equipment for material movement.
  • Complete daily vehicle inspection reports.
  • Charge vehicles after use and perform light maintenance.
  • Use a handheld RF scanner for picking, replenishing, and putting away items.
  • Ensure precise data entry, verify product details, and record serial numbers.
  • Follow and understand all company and job-specific procedures.
  • Meet all facility standards.
  • Pick and stack product according to procedure and special instructions.
  • Cross-check for 100% accuracy.
  • Pick, check, over pack, consolidate, and process parcel cases.
  • Load/unload trailers according to procedure, following all safety instructions.
  • Verify accuracy of received shipments, determine product locations, and put product into available locations.
  • Work independently and proactively.
  • Communicate with management and department personnel on key issues.
  • Adhere to good manufacturing practices, Food and Drug guidelines, and Drug Enforcement Laws.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Work in teams as designated (e.g., Safety, 5S, Lean).
