About The Position

The Specialist - Technology Logistics Support role is required for day-to-day support of equipment in the logistics environment. This role is also responsible for receiving, tracking, and resolving L1 Service Desk requests and incidents, submitted by customers via walk-up or systematically. This role assists with the installation of new systems and services as required. Monitor Data center alarms and co-ordinate with 3rd Party, SSC and Global Technology for maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as first point of contact for DC/FC users seeking IT support.
  • Aims to resolve a significant portion of incidents and fulfill routine service requests directly.
  • Act as communication bridge between the operations and various support teams to facilitate smooth information flow and effective problem resolution.
  • Manage release of planned outages and upgrades to ensure successful implementation.
  • Assist with supporting Microsoft Windows and its office products.
  • First level support of all office printers in preventive and remedial capacity.
  • When unable to resolve an issue themselves, escalates incidents and complex service requests to the appropriate global support and specialist teams.
  • All other duties as assigned.
