About The Position

In this position, you will shape Ford’s future technology direction by defining next-generation customer experiences and the hardware, software, and platform capabilities required to deliver them. You will collaborate across the enterprise to align portfolio strategies, product offerings, and technology investments while balancing customer value, technical feasibility, complexity, and cost. You will need to leverage market intelligence, competitive benchmarking, and strategic analysis to recommend priorities that accelerate business growth and innovation. This position will focus on either ADAS or Body Systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field
  • Experience translating technical initiatives into business and profitability analyses to ensure efficient capital allocation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate in diverse, cross-functional environments
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
  • 3+ years of project management/product management with GPDS familiarity; technology planning is a plus

  • MBA or equivalent work experience
  • Forward-thinking business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions that deliver impact
  • Technical background and demonstrated experience in the domains of ADAS and/or Body Systems
  • Direct experience leading strategic initiatives and technology unit and/or vehicle program milestones
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently and deliver high-quality events
  • Strong leadership skills – ability to drive discussions, provide direction and update senior leaders
  • Passion for the customer and passion for crafting new experiences
  • Familiar with JIRA project management tool
  • Familiar with Agile methodology, working through backlogs, and the development of product roadmaps
  • Tenacity and a willingness to work in evolving states of ambiguity
  • Experience with in-vehicle electrical architectures and their roadmaps, constraints, and complexity
  • Experience with data analytics and storytelling with data

Responsibilities

  • Help develop Ford’s global technology strategies
  • Define future experiences and enabling technologies
  • Manage tech complexity across the portfolio
  • Support the management of the investment portfolio within the technology cycle plan
  • Drive competitive intelligence, benchmarking, and external scanning for tech
  • Support Technology Strategy organization initiatives
  • Maintain technology and business health databases
  • Support the Unified Backlog process
  • Collaborate across the global enterprise
