Specialist, Supply Chain Master Data Execution

Dorman ProductsHatfield Township, PA
$63,300 - $90,100Onsite

About The Position

Dorman Products is seeking an Analyst to own the execution of SAP master data changes across our Light Duty and Heavy Duty business segments. The role processes roughly 115 mass-maintenance requests per day from planning, procurement, and operations partners through Winshuttle / Precisely Automate Studio against SAP ECC, and owns the Power Automate and SharePoint portal those requests arrive through. Master data drives planning outcomes: errors propagate directly into MRP, procurement signals, and inventory positions. This role combines disciplined, high-volume execution with the judgment to validate what gets posted and the communication skills to serve as the recognized point of contact across both segments. The position sits within a Supply Chain Systems function undergoing a multi-year planning transformation, including replacement of the current advanced planning platform. As automation capability matures, the role shifts from manual processing toward oversight and exception management, offering a foundation for growth into broader supply chain systems and analytics roles.

Requirements

  • Exceptional Excel proficiency: advanced formulas, data validation, Power Query, and preparation of large structured data sets for system load.
  • Power BI, Power Automate, and SharePoint proficiency, including the ability to support, troubleshoot, and extend an existing production solution built by someone else.
  • Proven accuracy and self-direction on high-volume transactional work under sustained demand.
  • Independent judgment and the willingness to reject non-conforming work, including from senior stakeholders, and to defend that decision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and effectiveness across team boundaries — including translating requirements to a technical owner and tracking work through another team's queue.
  • Ability to learn ERP transactional processes quickly. Direct SAP experience is not required; proficiency in SAP material master maintenance within the first months of the role is.
  • 2+ years in supply chain, master data, ERP operations, or a related analytical function.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Nice To Haves

  • SAP ECC material master maintenance (MM02) and MRP-relevant fields; MM and PP familiarity including MRP types, lot sizing, planning parameters, and MRP controller assignment.
  • Winshuttle / Precisely Automate Studio or comparable SAP mass-maintenance tooling.
  • Experience building workflow, intake, or approval solutions in Power Automate and SharePoint.
  • SQL or scripting, and exposure to scheduled or unattended job execution and exception-based monitoring.
  • Manufacturing or distribution planning background; awareness of ERP change control and segregation-of-duties principles.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily master data change requests across LD and HD using established Winshuttle templates, keeping the queue current.
  • Own the full request lifecycle: intake, validation, execution, confirmation, and closure.
  • Serve as the control checkpoint. Validate every submission for completeness, field-level accuracy, and material and plant applicability before posting, and reject requests that do not conform.
  • Judge whether a requested change will produce the intended planning outcome. Requests originate with the business; this role does not submit its own.
  • Maintain execution, rejection, and error records sufficient to evidence the control for internal and external audit.
  • Resolve failed or partially posted runs and escalate systemic issues to Supply Chain Systems leadership.
  • Apply segment-specific handling for LD (daily replan, kitting, high change frequency) and HD (machining and assembly, capacity-constrained, longer lead times).
  • Own the existing Power Automate and SharePoint intake and notification portal: flow health, list structures, forms, and permissions.
  • Extend front-end validation so non-conforming requests are caught at submission rather than at execution.
  • Improve routing, notification, and status visibility so requesters can self-serve on request state.
  • Keep flows, schemas, and dependencies documented for continuity.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for planning, procurement, and operations on master data change; communicate status and exceptions proactively.
  • Translate between business intent and system execution, resolving mismatches before posting.
  • Report on request volume, throughput, and error rates to inform capacity and prioritization decisions.
  • Maintain submission documentation and training material; reduce rework through requester education.
