We’re looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to play a key role in driving smarter purchasing decisions across our organization. In this position, you’ll own supplier relationships, lead contract negotiations, and help shape sourcing strategies that directly impact cost efficiency, operational performance, and service quality enterprise-wide. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3–5 years of experience in purchasing or sourcing corporate supplies and/or equipment
Experience presenting to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to travel up to 10%

AS400 experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Research, evaluate, and recommend suppliers for corporate equipment and supplies.
Conduct supplier assessments focused on capability, quality, reliability, and financial stability.
Partner with internal teams to onboard and transition new suppliers smoothly.
Act as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Resolve issues related to quality, service, or delivery while protecting business partnerships.
Track supplier performance and drive continuous improvement through regular reviews.
Negotiate pricing and terms for high-volume corporate supply items such as shrink wrap, catalog paper, and packaging materials.
Identify opportunities to convert regional purchasing into corporate-wide agreements to leverage scale.
Lead long-term contract negotiations for service vendors including food & beverage providers, equipment repair services, and parcel shipment programs.
Consolidate decentralized purchasing into centralized sourcing strategies that reduce cost and improve consistency.
Analyze purchasing data to uncover cost-saving opportunities and inefficiencies.
Partner with departments to challenge the status quo and implement better sourcing solutions.
Lead annual and bi-annual RFPs for non-inventory supplies (corrugate, tape, pallets, filler, shrink wrap, etc.).
Purchase corporate equipment and supplies while ensuring uninterrupted service across all locations.
Maintain appropriate supply levels to support business continuity.
Work closely with internal teams to understand operational needs and upcoming initiatives.
Provide data-driven insights, contract expertise, and supplier recommendations to support decision-making.
