About The Position

The Safety & Compliance Specialist supports operational safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across assigned locations and business functions. This highly organized and detail-oriented role involves managing administrative duties, communicating proactively with stakeholders, and advancing the execution of safety and compliance initiatives in a dynamic environment. We are looking for a candidate who is a strong communicator with advanced organizational and administrative capabilities, as well as proficiency in Microsoft or Google platforms. Ideally, you bring a solutions-oriented mindset while supporting compliance programs, audits, reporting, training coordination, and operational safety efforts.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
ASSP certification(s) or related safety credentials preferred.
Business acumen with the ability to align safety and compliance objectives with operational performance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace platforms, including spreadsheet management, reporting, presentations, and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

Collaborate to implement company safety and compliance programs, conduct site visits, inspections, and audits to partner in identifying risks, and support operational areas including vehicle and DOT compliance.
Track and manage corrective actions, compliance tasks, and training records. This also includes assisting with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and maintaining accurate regulatory documentation.
Build alignment and proactively communicate safety expectations across the organization, coordinate training and engagement efforts, and prepare necessary reports, presentations, and data analysis.
