About The Position

This position is responsible for carrying out re-set plans to meet completion deadlines, participating in analysis and planning to ensure merchandising objectives, priorities, and profitability for members are met in a timely manner. The role involves interacting with lead supervisors and sales managers to upgrade existing store formats, creating merchandising layouts with storeowners, Store Engineering, and Member Services departments, and working with IT to generate shelf tags and signage. The Specialist ensures schematic compliance and is responsible for the coordination and supervision of vendors during resets. This role follows through with the re-set schedule to accommodate construction phases of new stores and/or remodels. It requires some overnight travel and travel to and from various stores for resets. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Ability to travel to all store reset locations.
  • Some overnight travel required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to create and manipulate schematic reset software.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to communicate to member owners, store managers and vendors the needs of the reset project.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.
  • Must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Degree or equivalent; or two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
