About The Position

Sunoco LP is a leading operator of critical energy infrastructure and North America’s largest independent fuel distributor. The Retail Real Estate Team focuses on growing, optimizing, and maintaining the real estate portfolio. This individual will work closely with Director of Real Estate in executing operational elements of the real estate portfolio, which include but are not limited to, acquisitions, optimization, lease administration, lease negotiations, and lease restructuring. This position shall demonstrate high levels of proficiency in financial analysis, market analysis, user decision models, and investment analysis. This position requires a high degree of detail-orientation, ownership and accountability, analytical skills, complex problem solving, and integrity. Once the individual is settled in the role, we would look for them to be self-motivated and demonstrate a high level of ownership and proactivity in their work to solve many of the day-to-day issues under this role’s responsibility with limited explicit direction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 2-5 years of related experience required, preferably with Commercial Real Estate
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit – strong sense of ownership of the work and ability to “get things done”
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point
• Professional experience in Commercial Real Estate preferred
• SAP experience is a plus
• The Specialist level requires a Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Execute lease renewal / extensions / restructures
• Report to Director of Real Estate with Site Acquisitions, Lease Administration, Modelling, and Negotiations
• Assist with integration of mergers and acquisition portfolios
• Act as a liaison for corporate reporting obligations
• Work closely with title companies, consultants, brokers, and attorneys across various types of transactions
• Create report templates and routinely provide Sr. Management Team key portfolio real estate information
• Assist in handling Right of First Refusal inquiries, perm close maintenance obligations, notices of violations, s, condemnation activity, and real estate tax related investigations.
