About The Position

BRP is looking for a skilled QA Engineering Analyst to join its dynamic and growing Connectivity Team. As a Digital QA Specialist, you will be able to demonstrate your talents and enjoy working on a variety of digital projects (Web, and Mobile Apps) in a fast paced and agile environment. You will define and execute unit, regression, system integration test and smoke test cases, ensuring the quality and responsiveness of our digital technology platforms alongside a talented and passionate development team working on a vast array of systems. Requirements

  • Relevant education in Computer Science.
  • Worked in a QA capacity for 3+ years and a QA practice on projects.
  • 3+ years practical experience with I.T. principles, testing theory and methodologies.
  • 3+ years proven track record in participating in executing test plans, including analysis, script design and execution.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework..
  • Experience in working with cloud based technology, in hardware, UI, API and mobile testing.
  • Experience with tools such as Android Studio, XCode, Jira, Confluence, Postman and TestRail.
  • Strong organization, planning, coordination and scheduling.
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible, takes ownership, is transparent and proactive.
  • Customer service focus and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for leadership with strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of QA during projects and discussions regarding QA testing strategy and planning.
  • Meet with the Scrum Manager regularly to discuss projects testing progress by providing status updates.
  • Actively participate in the testing of digital properties and applications, its subsystems, interfaces (API), and its supporting technical infrastructure.
  • Analyze project documentation to determine test case and script design, participate in test execution and defect resolution.
  • Write, revise and verify quality standards
  • Coordinate and execute other test types including system, conversion, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing
  • Define test strategy, test approach, and test environment requirements
  • Design and prepare test data
  • Creates test plans, innovative test cases, release notes, test logs etc. based on requirements and test execution
  • Maintain QA documents up-to-date across Sprints
  • Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features
  • Suggest ways and implement them to improve Agile testing practices
  • Other duties as assigned
