The Specialist, Property Management, is responsible for assisting the Sr. Property Management Specialist with the overall success and quality of the BII and LSA facilities, and the accountability, safety, and performance of all personnel. This role provides logistical and administrative support to management and preserves all documentation pertaining to each rotation. The Specialist identifies, submits, and reconciles facility maintenance work orders for all applicable facilities, and inputs, updates, and exports information in GCSS-Army, SharePoint, or other government-approved Logistics Information Systems (LIS). They maintain key control and security for all applicable areas within the section in accordance with governing regulations, processes, and procedures. The role also requires adherence to all company policies, procedures, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Participation in training and cross-training sessions is expected, as is assistance in alternate project areas on an as-needed basis. The Specialist must be able to perform required duties and properly wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), lift/move up to 45 lbs. unassisted and up to 80 lbs. with assistance, and be physically capable of performing work in extreme temperatures, low humidity, blowing sand, and dusty conditions. The ability to work under stressful circumstances and meet short suspense deadlines is also necessary. In the absence of the Manager or Supervisor, the Specialist, Property Management, conducts roll calls, prepares Personnel Status Reports (PERSTATs), and assumes all responsibilities of the Supervisor.
