This role is instrumental in shaping the perception of the Scout brand through engineering ingenuity and a focus on powertrain calibration. The Specialist, Project Calibration Engineer will own assigned powertrain and drive system calibration activities from prototype through production release, contributing to an iconic brand's resurgence. The role involves creating a unique Scout driving experience, modifying vehicle and powertrain calibration for BEV/EREV systems, and supporting calibration engineers with necessary resources. Collaboration with powertrain hardware, chassis tuning, whole vehicle, production, and quality teams is essential for problem-solving and ensuring release readiness. Hands-on prototyping and software implementation are also key aspects of this position. The role is based in Charlotte, NC or Novi, MI, requiring 4-5 days per week in the office, with potential for travel.
