About The Position

The Specialist, Production Technology will be responsible for designing and implementing new production processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. This role involves developing process flow diagrams, layouts, and specifications for production equipment and systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies. The position also focuses on optimizing current processes using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma, providing technical support to production teams, and conducting training sessions for staff on new technologies and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with production process design and optimization.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production technology role.
  • Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for process design.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant experience in a production engineering or manufacturing role.
  • Experience with PLCs, robotics, and automated production systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new production processes and technologies that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop process flow diagrams, layouts, and specifications for production equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess production needs and integrate new technologies into existing processes.
  • Analyze current production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Utilize methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to drive process optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of implemented changes.
  • Provide technical support to production teams regarding equipment operation and process challenges.
  • Work closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth transitions from development to production.
  • Conduct training sessions for production staff on new technologies and process improvements.
