About The Position

Reporting to the Manager, Product Strategy and Innovation, Sun Life Health, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting product execution, operations, and future evolution. Building on our leadership in insurance and financial services, the candidate will support the current operations of in-market products as well as contribute to identifying and developing future opportunities for the existing products to support growth objectives. Types of health products will include chronic disease management products as well as new health products targeted at high priority segments. The role supports the operations of current products including business reporting, billing and invoicing, contributing to decisions on future product evolution, problem solving for product optimization, and sales enablement and business development activities.

Requirements

  • Ability to think at a detailed, diagnostic and tactical level, with the ability to connect work to broader strategic objectives.
  • Strong, analytically grounded problem‑solving skills, including working with data, conducting analysis and preliminary interpretation of results/insights.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly present findings and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Experience conducting in‑depth secondary research, including data collection, synthesis, and summarization of insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and build content knowledge in new domains.
  • Results‑oriented mindset with experience supporting innovation and/or product design initiatives; highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant business experience, with experience or strong interest in chronic disease management and health products, and/or exposure to digital health product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of in-market products
  • Contribute to product enhancement and support activities to evolve current programs.
  • Support recommendations/proposals for piloting new product models including the development of patient journeys, business modelling, setting target outcomes, research initiatives.
  • Collaborate with selected third-party players to explore opportunities for partnership as it relates to program evolution and work closely with the Manager of Partnerships and Growth to support these relationships.
  • Support the go-to-market initiatives and build on plans to pilot and launch new features/programs.
  • Contribute to ideation on how current CDMs will fit within the future roadmap of Sun Life’s health product suite.
  • Contribute to targets related to in-market CDM Programs; track and report on key metrics including enrollments, conversion rates and health outcomes, reporting up to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify areas for enhancement and support the implementation of continual improvement and test-and-learns based on data insights, providing learnings back to the broader Sun Life product team and reporting on success of each initiative against targets.
  • Support contractual requirements such as billing and invoicing related to in-flight programs.
  • Develop content/presentations on current programs for client facing presentations and proposals to showcase program offerings and capabilities.
  • Support the delivery of these presentations by collaborating with the Manager of Partnerships and Growth and the Director of Product, ePharmacy to answer relevant questions and tailor content appropriately.
