This role is responsible for ensuring production schedules are met on time while maintaining regulatory compliance with all federal, state, and local ESOH regulations. The Specialist will establish strong team member relations, provide support for people development, coaching, and mentoring with a focus on teamwork and inclusion. They will work closely with advisors from Mazda and Toyota, and cross-functionally with manufacturing and internal logistics to ensure on-time delivery of parts to production. The role involves daily monitoring of component parts flow, adjusting inventory levels, identifying and acting on supply chain abnormalities (North American and Overseas), expediting parts and returnable packaging, and managing supply chain crises. The Specialist will lead problem-solving efforts, support new model launches and shutdown coordination, contribute to annual business plans, and support change point management impacting production systems. The position requires the ability to work a 2nd shift schedule and perform other related duties as assigned. Availability to work outside normal hours, including weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and travel, is also necessary.
