About The Position

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located at customer's site. Candidates should be well versed in Network Technology, monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting, logistics, and taking rapid actions to resolve network events. Candidate will also be supporting development and long-range planning aspects of the industry. The position is located on Oahu, Hawaii. Ensure the reliability and continuous operation of AT&T’s Optical, IP Core, Mobility, and advanced communication technologies through 24x7 technical support, fault and lifecycle management, and comprehensive understanding of end-to-end services.

Requirements

  • 10+ years working in Network Operations and Logistical support, performed field surveys, network troubleshooting and analysis, supported logistical solutions and activated data transport services
  • Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) desired
  • First Aid/AED/CPR certified
  • Security Plus certified

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose network problems, provide technical support, manage incidents, coordinate root cause analysis, restore service, and solve Tier 2 issues.
  • Monitor network performance, perform routine maintenance, optimize operations, and proactively maintain system configurations using alarm and KPI monitoring.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, & analyze Network Elements for Operational support and System Functions.
  • Support Network Equipment through warehouse management, cost estimates, and create economic deliverables such as Inventory Record, Forecasts, and Supplier schedule of deliverables.
  • Configure network devices, deploy network solutions, manage configurations, and implement vendor/IT fixes or design changes.
  • Work with teams, coordinate with vendors, support projects, collaborate with business partners in DevOps, and interact with customers.
  • Maintain documentation, create technical and process documentation, review and interpret technical and vendor specifications, and generate reports.
  • Demonstrate sound technical knowledge, mentor peers and new hires, resolve complex problems, provide training, and promote knowledge sharing.
