About The Position

The Logistics Network Operations Specialist provides real-time support across Carvana's transportation and delivery network, serving as a key contact for Site Leaders and Vehicle Transporters. This role fields driver calls, resolves on-road disruptions, and partners with Internal stakeholders to protect route performance and on-time delivery. Strong candidates bring excellent communication and problem-solving skills, plus comfort with operational data and Google Sheets and understanding operational data.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of practical experience in Maintenance or Logistics.
  • Experience in Logistics Operations with knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance, FMCSA, and HOS
  • Ability to work as a team player and interact with customers, managers, and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Ability to commute and work out of the Tempe headquarters.
  • Ability to work in an office environment, with extensive use of computers.
  • Ability to sit for up to eight hours per day.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and oral.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Carvana-employed Vehicle Transporters and Advocates, providing phone support for on-road incidents as they happen
  • Source and select vendors that deliver strong service while mitigating risk and downtime
  • Support Logistics field teams in real time to maintain route integrity and service levels
  • Monitor exceptions and conduct root cause analysis to minimize postponed deliveries
  • Use multiple internal systems to gather data and troubleshoot issues that arise in transit
  • Maximize outbound capacity to improve on-time delivery and reduce transit times
  • Partner with Logistics Field Leadership, Fleet Maintenance, Market Operations, and Network Planning to minimize network disruptions
  • Apply strong analytical and Google Sheets skills to organize and interpret operational data
  • Document incidents accurately and communicate status and resolution plans to Logistics Field Leadership
