About The Position
This role is responsible for managing all materials, inventory, procurement, logistics, and production scheduling activities at a complex. The position directly impacts operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, production continuity, and cost management.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in: Inventory Control Materials Management Supply Chain Procurement/Purchasing Production Scheduling
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and mathematical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in: Business Economics Accounting Logistics
- SAP experience, specifically: SAP MMG BOM PPS
- Previous Inventory Control Management experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control of ingredients, raw materials, and supplies.
- Oversee inbound and outbound supply chain logistics.
- Coordinate procurement and the Purchase-to-Pay process.
- Schedule production based on inventory and WIP requirements.
- Maintain inventory stocking levels and minimize material variances.
- Manage freight scheduling, transportation costs, and supplier relationships.
- Monitor raw meat and ingredient inventories and place orders as needed.
- Maintain and update SAP systems (MMG, BOM, PPS).
- Review production metrics, bird sizes, trim percentages, and quality concerns.
- Coordinate new product launches, testing, and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain operational budgets.
- Partner with production, maintenance, inventory management, and corporate purchasing teams.
