About The Position

L3Harris Technologies Inc. is seeking a qualified Logistics Support Engineer to support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities for the SPYDR program in Rome, Italy. The selected candidate will be responsible for sustainment support of King Air 350 aircraft, including deployed operations, with a focus on logistics planning, spares forecasting, inventory management, and maintaining aircraft readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or Master’s/Graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of directly related experience.

  • Active SECRET security clearance.
  • Prior operations, maintenance, or logistics experience supporting fixed-site or deployable space systems.
  • Experience supporting or familiarity with the MOSSAIC program mission area, either as an operator, maintainer, or contractor.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Logistics Management Information (LMI) products using MIL-PRF-49506 guidance.
  • Proven ability to develop, maintain, and deliver logistics technical documentation and training materials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present reports and briefings to project teams, weapon system management, and customer stakeholders.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Working knowledge of acquisition life cycle processes and material procurement.
  • Familiarity with DoD and commercial logistics tools and databases, including but not limited to FedLog, WebFLIS, D043, GOLD, and other LMI/LSA systems.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and aircraft maintenance manuals to identify and validate material part numbers.
  • Familiarity with ASME Y14.100 and related engineering drawing standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting site and aircraft operations through effective inventory control, material tracking, and compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Demonstrating advanced proficiency in SAP as the primary system for inventory management, material tracking, and data analysis.
  • Providing MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) logistics support, including tracking planned and unplanned aircraft material throughout the repair and exchange lifecycle.
  • Analyzing historical material usage data within SAP to forecast material demand, identify potential shortages, and recommend optimal inventory levels.
  • Supporting site and aircraft operations by ordering, receiving, tracking, and issuing material for operations management, ground support equipment, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts.
  • Identifying and researching obsolete or inactive part numbers, ensuring inventory reflects current serviceability requirements.
  • Maintaining site-wide inventory accuracy of 95% or greater.
  • Tracking and managing shelf life for hazardous materials, calibration requirements for aircraft tooling, and corrosion inspection status for non–air-conditioned material storage.
  • Assisting with equipment maintenance activities during system downtime or limited operational periods.
  • Ensuring compliance with hazardous materials (HAZMAT) regulations for air, land, and sea transportation in both commercial and military environments.
  • Performing receiving and inspection activities in accordance with company quality standards aligned to AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Working knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) under Title 22 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) for dual-use items.
  • Relocating and providing full-time, on-site support aligned with operational requirements.
