The following position is to join RTX and the Global Communications team: Specialist, Integrated Communications - LADS Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) is Raytheon’s primary business area that specializes in integrated air and missile defense, advanced sensors, precision fires and a range of missiles and effectors. The business area provides the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps and international customers with integrated air and missile defense, counter UAS, and precision long-range and combat weapon capabilities. RTX Communications is seeking an outstanding candidate to develop and deliver communications strategies and content to support the business and growth goals of the portfolio. As a member of the Communications team, you will work with company leaders to help drive business results by providing strategic, world-class communications in support of company priorities.

Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Public Relations or related field and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience
Experience with traditional and non-traditional communication platforms, including print, electronic, social media, video and industry events
Project management experience

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains a range of communications deliverables (talking points, key messages, prep packages, product pages, social media posts, speeches, press releases, holding statements, presentations, marketing assets, employee-focused content, etc.) in partnership with COEs in support of LADS communications priorities – Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) and Precision Fires (PF)
Contributes to IAMD and PF communications priorities by supporting recurring campaign calls, tracking priority metrics, and reporting results to functional and business leadership
Acts as LADS representative for Tier 3 and 4 tradeshows and other industry events; supports Tier 1 and 2 tradeshows.
Manages daily LADS media monitoring report and maintains earned media tracking
Partners with Analytics team within the Brand Reputation COE to identify appropriate metrics to measure achievement of communications campaign objectives and develop corresponding dashboards
Partners with Social Media team within the Brand Reputation COE to develop audience profiles, messaging and assets for paid and organic social media campaings
Partners with Employee Engagement COE to develop employee communications aligned to LADS
Partners with Public Relations COE team to draft program messaging, news releases, and media responses
Partners with Brand Reputation COE to ensure LADS marketing assets (website content, videos, advertisements, product imagery, etc.) are compelling, accurate, and aligned with RTX brand standards
Assists in planning industry tradeshows and events to deliver results in support of LADS business and communications objectives – including media, social media, sponsorships, customer testimonials and meetings with communications counterparts and PAOs to build and advance relationships
Helps ensures LADS priority products and technologies are effectively positioned at key trade shows and industry events
