We have an opportunity for a Specialist II - Materials Management to join our team. This role supports critical materials management functions, including inventory control, shipping, and warehouse operations, to ensure smooth and compliant processes. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2–3 years of relevant work experience in a warehouse environment
  • Frequently performs activities such as sitting, standing, walking, computer work, reading, writing, and communication, with occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, carrying, and grasping; regularly lifts or moves up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and operate company transport vehicle as requested
  • Prior experience operating warehouse equipment (handheld scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams experience required
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proven ability to multi-task and demonstrate diplomatic skills
  • Strong attention-to-detail necessary in a cGMP environment

Responsibilities

  • Support TrackWise projects assigned to Materials Management, including immediate actions, impact/risk assessments, investigations, and root cause analysis.
  • Manage material replenishment activities, including lab replenishment reports, inventory control, and material picking, stocking, verification, identification, and delivery using FEFO principles.
  • Support warehouse and facility operations, including freezer/cooler preventive maintenance activities and column crating processes as required.
  • Process material requests and purchase orders, including Uline requests, while communicating, maintaining, and resolving PO-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Accurately pick, pack, ship, and document customer orders to meet fulfillment requirements and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Provide cross-functional support across Materials Management by leveraging cross-training to assist in other operational areas as needed.
  • Mentor, train, and support new Materials Management team members and Level I employees to promote knowledge transfer and team development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
