We have an opportunity for a Specialist I - Materials Management to join our team. This role supports warehouse management, inventory control, and shipping activities to ensure timely and accurate material handling. The Specialist I - Materials Management will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the success of manufacturing operations and supporting the delivery of life-changing treatments. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Wisconsin driver's license and operate company-owned transport vehicle as requested.
  • Work is performed in a climate-controlled laboratory environment and requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, computer use, reading, writing, speaking, and reaching; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, and grasping; and lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • The role requires compliance with all EHS responsibilities and adherence to safety procedures when working with laboratory hazards, including skin and lung irritants, electrical equipment, sharp instruments, toxic materials, hazardous waste, and clean room gowning requirements.
  • Experience in cold storage material handling, alarm system monitoring, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environments operating under current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards, and computerized inventory management systems such as JD Edwards.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) and International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations, international shipping and documentation compliance, including INCOTERMS, Commercial Invoices (CI), Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes, Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI), and Dangerous Goods (DG) requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Teams), with strong communication, multitasking, teamwork, and interpersonal skills; ability to proactively anticipate needs and provide value-added support; and flexibility to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, stock, verify, identify inventory, or deliver materials using First Expired, First Out (FEFO) basis as needed.
  • Accurately pick, pack, ship, and document all orders to meet customer order fulfillment requirements.
  • Support Freezer/Cooler preventive maintenance as needed.
  • Achieve and maintain zero shipping errors and zero inventory variances.
  • Manage and prepare domestic and international ambient and temperature-controlled shipments for delivery as requested.
  • Participate in daily and annual inventory cycle count activities as requested.
  • Maintain an orderly, organized, and safe work area and the ability to work overtime as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
