About The Position

Requirements

  • Equipment, tools and procedures used in grounds care.
  • Safe work practices.
  • Maintaining an established work schedule.
  • Effectively using interpersonal and communications skills including tact and diplomacy.
  • Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using standard office software applications and student information and database systems.
  • Work is performed in a variety of settings outdoors. Subject to temperature extreme hot days, cold days and raining day conditions.
  • Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
  • Occasional lifting of objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Work safely and follow safety rules. Report unsafe working conditions and behavior. Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices. Comply with all Health & Safety regulations policies

  • Golf Course experience preferred, not required

Responsibilities

  • Setup the golf course for daily play.
  • Maintain turf areas, shrubs, trees.
  • Operate power tools, trimmers, blowers and hand tools.
  • Operate turf mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles.
  • Professional Development hours up to date.
  • May perform minor maintenance and repair on equipment as required.
  • Remove debris from runoff during rainy season.
