Incumbent supports the provisions of services outlined in the Head Start/Early Head Start Performance standard and, the Department of Early Childhood and Family Services, and is responsible for monitoring, consultation, training, and daily oversight of Health & Nutrition Services. Assists the Health & Nutrition Supervisor with developing and maintaining partnerships with community agencies and health care providers. Collaborates with all members of the Health and Nutrition team to ensure that the health and nutrition components of the Head Start/Early Head Start Performance Standards and other health and nutrition policies and procedures are implemented consistently across the entire program. This position does require travel within the eleven-county service area, and limited overnight travel outside of the immediate service area.
